Managing for Improved Performance
February 22, 2012 - 10 am to 11:30 am PST

Dealing effectively with problem employees is a concern that people in management positions universally face. This 1.5 hour webinar focuses on the actions that housing managers can and should take in addressing problem behaviour. The session offers a step-by-step approach that starts with setting and communicating standards of behaviour; to identifying problems and taking action in order to correct performance issues first constructively, and failing that, moving to more punitive measures up to and including dismissal.

The workshop has two primary objectives for employers: the first is to help them get the best out of their employees; and the second is to minimize the risk when employees just don't work out. This session is suitable for anyone who manages or supervises staff in both union and non-union workplaces.

Webinar Fees: $60 + HST = $67.20 for BCNPHA Members; $90 + HST = $100.80  for Non-BCNPHA Members (Shared registrations not permitted).
