bullet Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch
The Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General regulates gaming in BC. The best way to find what you want on the branch Web site is to go to the Site Map (see left sidebar under Main Menu). Eligible organizations may obtain gaming funds through a Direct Access grant or by holding a licenced gaming event. They do not need to be registered charities but must be volunteer-controlled non-profit societies and fit within a category such as "Assistance to the Disadvantaged, Distressed and Relief of Poverty." Check out the Terms and Conditions for grants (use Site Map to locate this PDF file).
